Our Love Story

Merik and I met in November of 2022 through some mutual friends at school. We didn't really start talking until January, which is when Merik took me sledding up Provo Canyon. We chatted, had hot cocoa, and really just hit it off! We started dating two weeks later.

We spent the next few months having fun, getting to know each other, and spending copious amounts of time together. After a fake engagement prank on some friends, we both started to realize 'wait... if that was, ya know, for real one day... that might be kinda nice.'  When I moved to New York for the summer, Merik and I realized that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together! <3

After dating for 9 months, Merik took me up to Strawberry Reservoir where we started a campfire, stargazed, and painted late into the night.  He asked me to marry him, but I didn't let him get much out before asking "are you for real??" and when he nodded his head, I told him that YES I would marry him!  Since then we've spent a lot of time laughing, with friends, skiing, and doing homework.  We can't wait to start our lives together and celebrate with you on April 27th!
